2 Year Blog Anniversary!

Wow, time flies!  2 years ago I started this blog with my Valentine's Day Dinner I made for H and I. 

Once again this year I planned on making a special dinner for us to eat here at home.  It got postponed when my husband's work called him and offered 8 hours of overtime.  Since he's off tomorrow I'll just make my planned meal then.  It is a new recipe, so I'll be sure to share it with all of you.

Blog Anniversary!

Whoops! Sunday was actually my 1 year anniversary of doing this blog! Unfortunately H and I didn't make any special plans, or a special meal for Valentine's Day, so I had nothing to blog about.

I'm really happy that I've stuck to maintaining this blog. And I'm really happy with all the new recipes I've tried. H and I have expanded the variety of food that we like, and that we're willing to try.

So thanks for sticking with me, and I'm hoping to have some new recipes for you sometime this week.

Our 1st Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 1st Wedding Anniversary. In a week, we'll celebrate 6 years of being together! While we didn't do much, we did make reservations at The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant in north Grand Rapids. We got all fancied up, and went out to eat.

The drink was called Paradise Punch. And punch it was. Holy cow was it strong.
I guess when you pay $9 for a drink, you're getting your money's worth of alcohol!
